In 2018 we had a diverse group of students taking the Discovering Herbal Medicine course, including a farmer, a photographer and a mainstream health professional. One was even from Japan. The photo shows Carol-Ann Barrett receiving her certificate in June from Dr Chris Etheridge, Medical Herbalist and Chairman of the British Herbal Medicine Association in London in June. She says “I love my herb garden, the only problem I have is when I see a new herb to grow it's finding the space to plant it!! So, I sometimes have to be ruthless!
We moved here 18 years ago and we started from scratch after completing an extension 11 years ago so it is now matured well and been organic since we moved in. There isn't a meal prepared in this house without herbs from the garden.”
